New Shiurim - Chumash, Gemora

Rabbi Dov Kramer will be giving a new and exciting weekly in-depth chumish shiyur Thursday night for men at BMT/Zichron Moshe (Rabbi Davis'shul), 181 Lafayette Ave., Passaic. Shiyur starts at 8:30 in the Bais Medrash followed by Maariv at 9:30. BMT members and non members are welcome. // A new weekly in-depth gemorah Succah shiyur by Rav Chaim Davis has started Shabbos morning and afternoon at BMT/Zichron Moshe, 181 Lafayette Ave., Passaic. The shiyur starts around 10 am after the 8:15 minyon in the upstairs Bais Medrash followed by a Kiddish Rabba in the Ballroom together with the chevra from the 9:00 minyon. We regret to inform you of the passing of Rick Cantor's mother yesterday, Monday, July 14th. The levaya took place today, graveside, in Philadelphia. Rick will be sitting shiva in his home at 78 Allwood Place starting tomorrow, Wednesday, 7/16, through next Monday morning, 7/21. The minyan schedule will be as follows: Shacharis Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Monday - 6:30am Sunday - 8:00am Mincha/Maariv Wednesday and Thursday - 8:10pm Sunday - 7:50pm For anyone who can help with meals please contact Mrs. Shira Gitstein at 973-591-1711

On Tuesday, July 29 at 8PM, Dr. Alan Rozanski (Professor of Medicine, Colombia University, NY) will speak about "Managing Stress, Diet and Exercise, a Cardiologist's approach to promoting health and vitality in a fast paced world." The next evening, Wednesday, July 30, from 7-10 PM, Hatzolah and Bikur Cholim will provide free cholesterol screening (registration required), with on the spot results and free blood pressure screenings. At 17, Yishai returned to Israel to attend the Hesder Yeshiva in Maaleh Adumin and then served in the IDF as a paratrooper. Yishai went on to study Political Science at Yeshiva College, and received his J.D. at Yeshiva University's Cardozo Law School. At YU, Yishai founded Kumah, a grassroots organization dedicated to American Aliyah, and through his Zionist efforts he connected with Arutz Sheva where he is currently a popular show host and the program manager of Israel National Radio.
